Beinn Sgulaird

Located east of Loch Creran, a sealoch in Argyll & Bute the granite peak of Beinn Sgulaird rises to a height of 937m (3074 feet) to the south of Glen Ure. It has an undulating ridge running from southwest to northeast, 2 miles (3 km) of this ridge being located above 800m (2625 feet). The summit cairn can be found to the north end of the ridge. The name Beinn Sgulaird is derived from the Gaelic for "hat shaped hill".
