Knocknairshill Reservoir

A small reservoir retained by an earth embankment dam above Port Glasgow in Inverclyde, Knocknairshill Reservoir lies below the larger Harelaw Reservoir at a height of approximately 205m (672 feet), a mile (1.75 km) southwest of the town centre. It is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water. The reservoir supports a recreational fishery for brown trout managed by Port Glasgow Angling Club.
