North Esk Reservoir

A small reservoir in the Pentland Hills, the North Esk Reservoir lies on the boundary of the Scottish Borders and Midlothian Council Areas, 1¼ miles (2 km) north of Carlops and 4 miles (6.5 km) north of West Linton. This reservoir receives several streams, including the Gutterford Burn and Henshaw Burn and is the source of the River North Esk.
