Muirhead ReservoirA reservoir located 3 miles (5 km) east southeast of Largs and a similar distance west of Kilbirnie in North Ayrshire, Muirhead Reservoir lies to the northwest of Camphill Reservoir. It was constructed by Paisley Corporation Water Works to supply drinking water to that town and is today operated by Scottish Water.
