Esragan, River

A small river in the Benderloch district in NE Argyll and Bute, the River Esragan forms as the confluence of the Eas na Gearr and Eas a' Chrinlet 4 miles (6.5 km) north of Taynuilt. It flows southwest and then south, following a course of only 2½ miles (4 km), to enter Loch Etive a quarter-mile (0.5 km) south of Inveresragan and opposite Airds Point.
