Island of Danna


(Danna Island)

Not an island, but a peninsula of Argyll and Bute, Danna Island is connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus separating Loch Sween from the Sound of Jura. Danna Island rises to 54m (177 feet). Its population is recorded as 10 (1961), 9 (1971), 7 (1981), 1 (1991), 5 (2001) and 1 (2011).
