Rimbleton

A residential district or precinct of Glenrothes in Fife, Rimbleton is centred a half-mile (0.8 km) southwest of the town centre. For the most part, its streets are named after Scottish estuaries and sealochs (Ailort, Broom, Clyde, Crinan, Cromarty, Dornoch, Duich, Forth, Inver, Laxford, Lorne, Melvich, Moray, Pentland, Ryan, Solway, Sunart and Tay). Its population was recorded as 3135 in 1994. Rimbleton Primary School opened in 1962 on Bilsland Road and now has a roll of 350 pupils including its nursery department. St. Paul's Roman Catholic Primary School was built in 1960 and now has 180 pupils.
