Glens of Foudland

A group of valleys in the Strathbogie district of NW Aberdeenshire, the Glens of Foudland comprise a principal east-west valley, which contains the Glen Water and A96 Trunk Road, together with several smaller valleys which branch off to the north and south. The Glens of Foudland was at the centre of a slate-production industry in the early to mid-19th C.
