Aldessan Burn

(Kirk Burn)

A stream of E Dunbartonshire, the Aldessan (or Kirk) Burn forms as headwaters which descend from the Campsie Fells, the most significant of these headwaters being the Nineteentimes Burn. It then flows through the Campsie Glen to Clachan of Campsie, where it once supported a bleach-works, to merge with the Finglen Burn a half-mile (1 km) to the southeast, forming the Glazert Water.
