Dubh, EileanOne of the Summer Isles in the mouth of Loch Broom off the coast of Wester Ross, Eilean Dubh lies 2 miles (3 km) south southwest of Tanera Mor and 3 miles (5 km) west of Horse Island. The island rises steeply to 87m (285 feet) and extends to 49 ha (122 acres). Its American owners have built a log-house on the shores of the sheltered bay of Acairseid an Eilean Duibh in the northeast of the island.
