Eilean an Duin

The highest of three small islets located in the channel to the north of the Craignish Peninsula which have been connected to form the southern breakwater of the Craobh Haven marina, Eilean an Duin ('island of the fort') rises to 23m (75 feet). Unfortunately the fort was almost completely destroyed by the building of the breakwater. Together with Eilean Buidhe, which lies at the centre of the northern breakwater, and Eilean Arsa, located a half-mile (1 km) to the southwest, these islands were occasionally known as the Craobh Islands.
