Dundaff Hills

The Dundaff Hills represent a rarely-used name given to a small range of summits in SE Stirling Council Area, which comprise the southeastern section of the Lennox Hills - a plateau of Lower Carboniferous lava flows which extends from Dumbarton, in the west, to Stirling in the east. Taking their name from Dundaff Hill, the southernmost of the summits, the range lies to the east of the Fintry Hills, from which they are separated by the Endrick Water. They merge into the Gargunnock Hills and Touch Hills to the north, while to the south are the Kilsyth Hills and the River Carron. It is arguable precisely which summits form part of this range, but the highest point is Earl's Hill (441m / 1446 feet).
