Mor, Gleann

A valley at the head of the Cowal Peninsula, Gleann Mor descends from the Rest and Be Thankful at the head of Glen Croe to the head of Glen Goil, 3 miles (5 km) north northeast of Lochgoilhead. Gleann Mor extends for 2¾ miles (4.5 km) and its sides are cloaked by plantation forestry. The summits of Beinn an t-Seilich and Beinn an Lochain lie to the north, while Ben Donich rises to the south.
