Kirkton Dam

A small former reservoir in SW East Renfrewshire, which was built as part of an industrial water supply scheme providing power to cotton mills, Kirkton Dam is situated a quarter-mile (0.5 km) east of Neilston. It was drained in the latter 20th century, although the site remains.
