Located at the east end of the Mamore ridge to the northeast of Kinlochleven in the Lochaber district of Highland Council Area, Binnein Mor rises to a height of 1130m (3707 feet) and is the highest of the range Its name is derived from the Gaelic for "big peak". It has a classic mountain form with ridges and corries meeting at the summit. A spur carries the main ridge southwest to Na Gruagaichean.
