Hailes House

A modest mansion in Hailes Avenue, SW Edinburgh, 4 miles (6.5 km) southwest of the city centre. It was the work of Sir James Clerk of Penicuik (c.1710-82) and comprises two storeys and a basement, arranged as three bays.
