Garvamore Bridge

A two-arched masonry road bridge over the Spey in its upper reaches, the Garvamore Bridge lies a half-mile (0.8 km) northwest of Garvamore in Badenoch district of Highland Council Area. The structure dates from 1731 and was the work of the notable builder of military roads, General George Wade (1673 - 1748). The bridge is heavily buttressed and has been strengthened by iron ribs.
