MacaterickA hill which represents the southernmost point of East Ayrshire, Macaterick lies to the south of a loch of the same name and 7½ miles (12 km) west southwest of Carsphairn. The border with South Ayrshire Council Area lies to the west and Dumfries & Galloway to the south.
