Dod Burn

A tributary of the Allan Water in the S Scottish Borders, the Dod Burn rises on the northern slopes of Hawk Hill, 7 miles (11 km) south southwest of Hawick. It flows north for 4 miles (6 km) to fall into the Allan Water at Dodburn. Part of its flow is diverted to the Acreknowe Reservoir to supply Hawick with water.
