One of a pair of steep hills on the northern edge of the Leithope Forest in the S Scottish Borders, Goschen Law forms part of the Cheviot range, rising to 405m (1328 feet) 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Carter Bar and 8 miles (13 km) southeast of Jedburgh. The higher Philip Law lies a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the east northeast.
