Green Humbleton

One of the Cheviot Hills in the SE Scottish Borders, Green Humbleton rises to 287m (941 feet) a half-mile (1 km) west of the English border and 1¼ miles (2 km) southeast of Kirk Yetholm. There is a substantial and well-preserved Iron-Age hill-fort on its summit, enclosed by two embankments, each 3m (10 feet) thick and separated by a ditch. St Cuthbert's Way passes along the southern flank of Green Humbleton.
