Waterloo Bridge

A low five-span road-bridge which crosses the River Ness at Inverness, the Waterloo Bridge comprises steel trusses mounted in iron piers. It was designed by John A. Mackenzie and Murdoch Paterson and constructed by the Rose Street Foundry in 1895-96, replacing a wooden bridge constructed 80 years previously.
