Mount Joe

Located within Greskine Forest in NE Dumfries and Galloway, Mount Joe is one of the Lowther Hills and rises to 484m (1587 feet), 1¼ miles (2 km) east of the Daer Reservoir and 5 miles (8 km) west northwest of Moffat. The Southern Upland Way follows the border between Dumfries & Galloway and South Lanarkshire, which lies just to the west of the summit, and then strikes southeast around the hill and on through the forest.
