Beld KnoweOne of the Lowther Hills, Beld Knowe rises to 507m (1663 feet) on the border between South Lanarkshire and Dumfries & Galloway, a mile (1.5 km) east of the Daer Reservoir and 5½ miles (9 km) west northwest of Moffat. It eastern slopes are cloaked with part of the Greskine Forest. and the Southern Upland Way crosses its summit.
