Loch Braigh Bhruthaich

(Loch Bruachaig)

A small and remote loch on the border of the Cairngorm National Park, Loch Braigh Bhruthaich lies 4 miles (6.5 km) north northwest of Carrbridge and 5 miles (8 km) east of Tomatin. The loch was referred to as Loch Bruachaig on the First Edition of the Ordnance Survey map (1874). It throws off the Allt Loisgte, which becomes the Allt Bruachaig, a tributary of the River Findhorn.
