Crynoch Burn

A stream of E Aberdeenshire, Crynoch Burn forms at the junction of the Cairnie Burn and the Burn of Monquich to the north of the Mill of Monquich, and flows north passing the east of Kirkton of Maryculter before passing into the River Dee near Inch of Culter, having completed a course of 4 miles (6.5 km). The children's visitor attraction of Storybook Glen contains part of the lower section of the stream. Corbie Pot is a notable pool just above weirs which once diverted water into a mill on the south bank of the Dee.
