Caird Park Stadium

Located within Caird Park, 1½ miles (2.5 km) north of Dundee city centre, this public sports venue comprises an athletics stadium and velodrome. The athletics track includes a 400m (437 yard) eight-track circuit, together with an eight-track straight section. It was originally cinder but was upgraded to a synthetic surface in 1994 and can be floodlit. Adjacent are changing rooms and facilities for Dundee Hawkhill Harriers athletics club (formed in 1889), which use Caird Park as their base.

The velodrome, located a short distance to the south, features a 402m (440 yard) banked track with a football pitch laid out within its circumference.
