The remains of Wallace's Tower, Roxburgh

A considerably ruined tower-house, located in a field a short distance to the south of the village of Roxburgh in the Scottish Borders, Wallace's Tower was a property of the Kers of Cessford. Built on an L-plan in the 16th century, it comprised a main block and stair tower. Nothing stands above its lowest floor, the remains of a vaulted basement.
