Sruth Earshader

The narrow channel which separates the island of Great Bernera from the NW coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Sruth Earshader lies to the west of Loch Barraglom and connects to West Loch Roag in the west. The channel is approximately a half-mile (1 km) in length and 220 yards (200m) wide. Since 1953 it has been crossed by the Bernera Bridge.
