Rum Cuillin
A dark and foreboding mountain massif, often lost in the clouds in the south of the Inner Hebridean island of Rum, the Rum Cuillin reaches its greatest height at Askival (812m / 2664 feet), 2¾ miles (4.5 km) south southwest of Kinloch, but also comprises the peaks of Ainshval (781m / 2562 feet), Sgurr nan Gillean (764m / 2506 feet), Hallival (723m / 2372 feet), Trallval 702m / 2303 feet), Barkeval (591m / 1938 feet), Beinn nan Stac (546m / 1791 feet) and Ruinsival (528m / 1732 feet). An unnamed peak which reaches 759m (2490 feet) between Ainshval and Sgurr nan Gillean may be the Beinn More of Groome, Ben-More of John Marius Wilson and Bin Moir of Blaeu.
