Tor Burn

The Tor Burn forms the border between Stirling and Falkirk Council areas along the entirety of its course, which represents only a section of a longer stream that eventually spills into the Firth of Forth. To the west of the M80 motorway, it is known as the Boards Burn, but it flows east midway between Dunipace and Plean and on through Torwood Glen, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) northwest of Torwood. It continues east under the M9 motorway, to become the Pow Burn, having completed a course of approximately 3¾ miles (6 km).
