Stob Ban

Rising to a height to 977m (3205 feet) to the west of Ben Nevis in Lochaber, Highland region, Stob Ban is very small compared to its companions in the Grey corries range. Its main distinctive feature is a giant staircase of quartzite and its name is derived from the Gaelic for "light coloured peak".
