Tweed Junction Pool

One of the most famous salmon beats in the world, the Tweed Junction Pool lies opposite the Borders town of Kelso, at the junction of the Rivers Tweed and Teviot. An unusual wooden seat was placed here in 2001, for the benefit of those walking along the river bank, and an interpretation board explains the importance and history of the pool.
