Gleann Culanach

A valley which connects the head of Glen Douglas in Argyll and Bute with Glen Mallan and Loch Long. Gleann Culanach extends for 2 miles (3 km) southwest from the DM Glen Douglas munitions storage facility, separating Craggan Hill from the higher summits inland. While there is no public road through the valley, which is largely occupied by plantation forest, the West Highland railway line and a pair of high-tension power lines, which convey power from the hydro schemes to the north, run through the valley.
