Tweed Green

A riverside park located to the east of the Tweed Bridge in Peebles (Scottish Borders), the Tweed Green represents an area of ancient common land on which the people of the town still have the right to hang out their washing. This triangle of land is now laid to grass and divided by avenues of trees.
