Burn of Gossawater

A small river of E Central Yell in Shetland, the Burn of Gossawater descends from Gossa Water, a loch located 1¼ miles (2 km) west northwest of Dalsetter, to the head of Basta Voe. It flows east, southeast and then south, receiving the Burn of Dalsetter and South Burn of Dalsetter as it enters Basta Voe, having completed a course of 1½ miles (2.5 km). It represents the principal stream of water entering the voe.
