Pitreavie

A district on the southern edge of Dunfermline (Fife), Pitreavie takes its name from the 17th-century tower-house located on the southeastern margin of the district and lies 2 miles (3 km) south southeast of the town centre. Pitreavie Business Park is associated with financial services. There are also a golf course and playing fields located here. In July 1651, the Battle of Inverkeithing was, in part, fought at Pitreavie between Scottish Royalist forces and Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army.

Immediately to the south is the A823(M) which links Dunfermline and Rosyth to the M90 motorway.
