The smallest of the three Burnt Islands in the Kyles of Bute, Eilean Buidhe lies to the northeast of the group, a mile (1.5 km) northwest of Colintraive. It is uninhabited although the remains of a vitrified fort can be observed at its centre. There is a light beacon between Eilean Buidhe and Eilean Mor, 150m (500 feet) to the south.
