A stream with its source on the southern slopes of Bloodstone Head, Bloodhope Burn descends through plantation forest at the head of Eskdale in Dumfries and Galloway, to drop into the Tomleuchar Burn, a headstream of the White Esk, having completed a course of 2¼ miles (3.5 km).
