Pettycur Bay Holiday Park

A family-owned holiday centre on the S Fife coast, Pettycur Bay Holiday Park forms a distinctive landmark a mile (1.5 km) west southwest of Kinghorn and 1½ miles (2.5 km) east of Burntisland. Divided by the A921 road and mainline railway, the park comprises rows of distinctive green residential caravans parked precariously on the steep slopes of The Bents, but which provide fine views over the Firth of Forth. The associated Bay Leisure Centre includes a swimming pool, fitness suite, shop, laundry and children's play areas. The multi-million pound Bay Hotel was added to the complex in 2008. This 28-bedroom hotel was the work of Kirkcaldy-based Davidson Design Partnership. There is also a small area for touring caravans and tents.
