One of a group of uninhabited islands located off the northeast coast of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, Fuiay (Gael: Fuidheigh) has an area of 84 ha (208 acres) and rises steeply to 107m (351 feet) at the mouth of North Bay immediately to the west of Flodday and a mile (1.5 km) southwest of Hellisay. The island was inhabited until the middle of the 19th century.
