A small uninhabited island in the Outer Hebrides, Lingay (Gael: Lingeigh) lies in the Sound of Pabbay to the south of Barra, 1¼ miles (2 km) north of Pabbay and 2½ miles (4 km) west southwest of Sandray. Lingay is oval in shape and rises steeply to 84m (275 feet). There is a cave on its southeast coast.
