Stack Islands
(Na Stacan Dubha)

A small group of islands at the southern end of the Outer Hebrides, the Stack Islands (Gael: Na Stacan Dubha) lie in the Sound of Barra, just off the south coast of the island of Eriskay. They comprise the larger Eilean Leathan to the south, together with several rocky islets to the north. The island of Gighay lies 2 miles (3 km) to the southwest.
