Easter Fearn Bridge

A picturesque single-arch rubble bridge which conveys the B9176 road at a sharp right-angle across the gorge containing the Easter Fearn Burn, 4 miles (6.5 km) southeast of Ardgay in Easter Ross. Rising to a height of 15.2m (50 feet) above the water, the substantial Easter Fearn Bridge was completed in 1817 and was the work of Thomas Telford (1757 - 1834).
