One of the Grampian Mountains of N Angus, Benty Roads rises steeply above the Corrie of Clova, reaching a height of 841m (2759 feet) 2¼ miles (3.5 km) north of the settlement of Clova. The peak of Boustie Ley is located a half-mile (1 km) to the southwest.
