A modest summit of SW Perth and Kinross, Hoods Hill rises to 224m (734 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) north northwest of Drum and a mile (1.5 km) northeast of Crook of Devon. There is a transmitter mast and underground drinking-water reservoir at its summit. White Hill lies a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the north.
