One of the Braes of Angus, St. Arnold's Seat rises to 493m (1617 feet) on the southeastern flank of a higher summit, unnamed on the Ordnance Survey map, a mile (1.5 km) west of Glen Ogil and 7 miles (11 km) north northeast of Kirriemuir.
