A hill in the centre of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, Hartaval (Gael: Hartabhal or Thartabhal) rises to 356m (1167 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) northeast of Heaval - the island's principal summit - and 1½ miles (2.5 km) northeast of Castlebay.
