Much less developed than the Queen's Links to the south, the King's Links (also known as the Old Town Links) are dedicated to recreation and nature. Situated to the north of Broad Hill and behind Aberdeen Esplanade, the King's Links lie 1¼ miles (2 km) north northeast of Aberdeen city centre represent an area of low sand dunes and scrub vegetation which is home to the Old Town Golf Course and a golf driving range.
