Gleann a' Chlachain A steeply sloping side valley of Strath Fillan in NW Stirling Council Area, Gleann a' Chlachain lies between Beinn Chaorach and Ben Challum, 2½ (4 km) east northeast of Tyndrum. It forms part of the SRUC Hill & Mountain Research Centre. The Allt Gleann a' Chlachain descends through this valley, becoming the Allt Auchtertyre and then a tributary of the River Fillan.
